Nock on silverback vs carter evolution12/11/2023 ![]() In a nutshell they installed a linkage between the internals that eliminates the need to adjust the travel. Yes, the sear was updated with what they're calling a "Constant Engagement System" they they used on the new EZ and EZs. Sent from my moto g(7) power using Tapatalk The former are "single action" releases (the cocking button just cocks the trigger but doesn't close the hook) so they tend to have better triggers due to there being less "slop" in the mechanism since there's less going on in there. How does it compare to other Carters? I'd say it's not quite as good as the sear mechanism Just Cuz/Just B Cuz/Insatiables/Targets/Fits Me Carters, not as good as the EZ (though the N2I can be set much heavier, which is my preference), but better than the Wise Choice/Too Simple/First Choice. You give up a little bit of trigger crispness in exchange for an easier d-loop hook-up. If I had to rate it as compared to the original, I'd say the new system is comparable to the best possible adjustment of the old sear design but with less creep before it breaks.ĭoes it compare to my Stans? No, but since it has what I'm calling a "double action" cocking button (where pressing the button cocks the trigger and closes the hook) that's the trade-off. It’s designed to be playable with friends, family, strangers and even bots. I’m selling it because with what little shooting I do, I don’t think that I’ll get used to this style of release.
